It works perfectly. I can lower, raise, tilt, and adjust my computer monitor exactly as needed to work from my recliner whether I'm sitting up, lying down, or someplace in between. It's a game changer for my disability. However, the installation instructions leave much to be desired. One missing piece of information: How high on the wall to install. I was lucky and missed the ceiling by just one inch. Also, if you're installing this yourself, take note that there is no separate mounting plate. You will have to hold the heavy arm up to the wall to install. You use four screws to mount it to the wall, but they are in a square pattern; you'll only be able to get two of them into a stud. When mounting your monitor, you'll need 4 VESA screws, these do not come with the arm.
